The Battle of Britain

The battle of Britain was an air battle which took place between the 10th July and the 31st October 1940. This was the Germans trying to take control over Britain, and it was the RAF against the Luftwaffe bombers and fighter planes.

It was over the dover coast towards France The Luftwaffe was devised to provide tactical support for the army on the battlefield. During the blitzkrieg offensives against Poland, Denmark and Norway and France the objection is to gain air superiority.

This was over Britain and France to show that Germany had the most powerful military all over the world and to defeat other countries.
