2009

2009 was a good year for 2nd waterlooville scouts and explorers.

At the beginning of the year we made nine new Queens Scouts

Then at the end of the year we made another three; Toby Olway, Neil Baxter and Aiden Yates.

Also at the same time as the Queen Scouts we also gave three Platinum cheif Scouts awards to; Andy Norgate, Matt Pickles and Alex creamer.

Explorers

The explorers have had a good year in 2009, they got Dave gamblin as the new main Explorer leader, also they have done alot of planning for their Normandy expidition.

Normanday Expedition

The explorers are planning to go to france in October 2010, to the three British Normanday Beechs; Gold, Sword and Juno. They are doing this to pay thier respects to the veterans or the 2nd World War. They have descided to lay wreaths on each beech for the vetarans. This expidition will include going to see Pegasus Bridge and the Graves Of The Unknown.

The lads have already done a presentation on this to parents and some companies. If you want to know get in contact with us ad we will be happy to answer any question.
