Ryan Newson races in the MX1 class for R1 Motocross on a Honda CRF 450, this is his first year in the MX1 class ridding along all the biggest riders in the world such as Josh Coppins, Billy Mackenzie, Steve Ramon and Antonie Carolie.

In Ryans first year of ridding with all the bigger boys he has done the club proud as he has been fit for every meeting, finished every race within the top 10 and so far it seems like Ryan dose not have bad race's. At the age16 Ryan is one of the top ridders in the world for his age, he started ridding at the age of 7 on a KTM 65cc motocross bike for Portsmouth Motocross Club and through the years he has improved his ability to ride a motocross bike and he has also improved the power of the bike, he went from a KTM 65cc to a Suzuki 85cc and then done a massive jump to a Yamaha YZF 250. This is when he really strated to get noticed, now 3 years later Ryan is ridding with alltghe best ridders in the world for R1 Motocross.
