Everton Football Club was founded in 1878 as St Domingo FC. Their home ground was Anfield. Shortly after Everton wanted to move grounds after John Houlding the owner of Anfield increased the rent. Then onwards St Domingo became known as Everton Football Club and then started to play their home games at their new ground called Goodison Park (our current home ground to date). Everton in their 132 year history are the fourth most successful English team and of which have compeated in a record 107 seasons in top flight football. Everton have won 9 league titles, five FA Cups and a European Cup Winners Cup.
