You can buy koi carp online like from www.mitchkoi.co.uk but its is abit risky because the fish might have some sort of disease or problem, and it might not look like the picture.

Also so koi carp that are breed with normal carp look like a real koi with nice colours but after about a year its colours with fade and look horible.

So it is best to buy koi carp from koi shows because you can see what your buying and the seller has to be verified to sell koi at a koi show so you know they are real things. There are koi shows all over the UK they are mostly held at colleges at weekenges or comunity centres so its worth looking up where you are.

Koi can cost anything from about £50-£3000+ depending on its colours so if you want an expensive koi you are better of buying it when its about 10cm long so it is more affordable.

So when your buying your koi carp take your time and make sure you buy the right fish.
